Elizabeth Zaranyika Registered Psychotherapist (Q)
Reaching out takes courage, especially when life feels overwhelming. If you’ve been feeling unseen, misunderstood, or weighed down by life’s pressures, you’re not alone—I’m here to support you.
Together, we’ll make sense of your disconnection, negative thoughts, or lost sense of “you,” helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected. In a caring, judgment-free space, we’ll explore your emotions and experiences, finding the clarity and tools you need to move forward. My approach is modern yet intimate, humanistic, and client-centered, focused on your strengths to help you heal, grow, and reconnect with the person you truly are.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, mood fluctuations, workplace stress, burnout, career transitions, communication challenges, people-pleasing, difficult relationships, and identity concerns. As a culturally-informed therapist, I also provide culturally responsive care, recognizing the unique experiences that shape each person’s journey.
My main focus is to empower you to heal and create meaningful change using Solution-Focused Therapy, while also drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mind-body practices. I also incorporate trauma-focused interventions, safety planning, and emotional regulation strategies to support lasting resilience.
Before stepping into psychotherapy, I have also spent the last 15 years in Human Resource Management, specializing in mental health support, employee wellness, talent management and assessment. This experience deepened my understanding of workplace challenges, stress, and career-related struggles, allowing me to offer insight and support to those navigating professional and personal transitions.
You don’t have to face this alone. Let’s begin your journey toward healing.
